Get Paid For
Solar Referrals

Get paid for referrals through our solar referral program. If you recommend StraightUp Solar to a business or organization who then installs with us, we will thank you with $10 per kW for large commercial systems over 50kW (below 50kW pays $500) after their new system is installed. 

For example: You could refer, say, your friend who owns a hardware store or your house of worship. If we install a 70kW array for them, you would receive a $700 referral bonus check after the system is installed.

Often it’s happy customers who “Share Their Solar Smile” by referring others to solar because they love the savings and supporting a cleaner future, but you don’t have to be a customer to receive a bonus. We do, however, need to know that you referred them. Be sure to tell them to mention your name because we want to thank you (or you can submit our handy referral form here).

There may be a great reason why you don’t have your own system: too much shade on your property, you live in an apartment, etc. That doesn’t mean you can’t share your solar smile! Sharing your passion for solar with your friends is a great way to put your interest in solar to use, support sustainable energy, and get paid all at the same time.

  • Mention StraightUp Solar via social media – publish a Facebook post, send a tweet, or post a video about solar energy. Be sure to tag @straightupsolar so we know you’re sharing your solar smile!
  • If your business has a solar system already installed, host an open house with us! It’s a great way to engage with customers, business partners, or employees and demonstrate your leadership in promoting a cleaner future. We’ll help you to arrange the solar open house.
