Sandy Creek Corp – Commercial Rooftop Solar Array

Sandy Creek went solar with this 26.15 kW DC array. This array will produce about 30.84 MWh of energy every year – that 30.84 Megawatt-hours!

Producing 30.84 MWh of electricity from a clean energy source, rather than a coal power plant, saves 21.8 metric tons of carbon dioxide from being emitted into the atmosphere.* That’s like saving 24,026 pounds of coal from being burned, or 50.5 barrels of oil from being burned. This is the same amount of carbon sequestered by 28.5 acres of U.S. forests in one year.
