Bond Avenue Church Gets A Little Help From Above

Bond Avenue Missionary Baptist Church (The River) is getting a little help from above. Through a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) through the StraightUp Solar Legacy Fund, the Church installed a 35 kW solar PV system that will produce 90% of the church’s electricity. The PPA and the Illinois Solar For All program will allow Bond Avenue Church to reduce their electricity bills an estimated 57%, helping the church dedicate their resources to their East St. Louis, Illinois community.
