Get to Know Andy

Andy S joined the StraightUp Solar Team in the Spring of 2024. He has 6 years of experience working in the Solar industry including Solar Project Development and Sales. He holds a Bachelor of Science, Computer Science degree from the University of Iowa. Andy has received certification with Midwest Renewable Energy Association in Solar Training and PV Sales and Finance.

Andy recalls finding his calling for solar, “After a number of different roles in my professional career, I feel like I have finally found my ‘spot’ from both a work and a team standpoint. I love the work of Project Development because I enjoy meeting with homeowners and helping them to fully understand how going solar can work for them. And for whatever reason they end up going solar, I get the satisfaction of knowing I’ve helped facilitate another renewable energy project. Being able to perform that work with the awesome StraightUp Solar team, I couldn’t ask for a better fit.”
