Cherie E.

Cherie joined StraightUp Solar in 2018 after a diverse career in engineering, project management, and accounting. Cherie started her career with McDonnell Douglas as a Senior Systems Engineer and the Naval Air Command as a Software Development/First Article Test Engineer. She transitioned into executive corporate roles early in her career and brings over 30 years’ experience to our organization in finance, accounting, project management, customer engagement, and business analytics. These experiences have strengthened her ability to be a positive team role model and effective leader. Cherie is skilled in leading profitable growth and brand loyalty in competitive and challenging markets with an innovative focus on accounting, management and development of sustainable consumer solutions. She has a proven entrepreneurial record to be self-motivated and achieve aggressive goals with extensive skill sets and knowledge base.

Outside of work Cherie loves to travel, bike and golf. She has two great and successful children in their mid 20’s, a son and a daughter.

Cherie said she is excited to be working with such a great team of people. It has been refreshing for her to join an environment in which innovation, motivation and dedication to the team as a whole is what makes each and every individual tick. Cherie looks forward to going to work every day and being a contributing team member to the commitment and values that continue to establish StraightUp Solar as a leader in the renewable energy revolution.
