Michael N.

Michael joined our team in 2019. Prior to solar, he was a carpenter for the past 14 years, and has worked an all phases of construction. He has done everything from pouring concrete to installing roofs to custom tiling. He recently returned to St. Louis, but was living in New Mexico for the past 12 years. This is his dream job. According to Michael he has “always been interested in the Earth, it’s precious resources, and our impacts as humans living on it. I grew up very active in the outdoors, from family hiking and camping trips, to becoming a backcountry rock climbing instructor at a camp in NM. I have always been fascinated with alternative energy, and working in the solar industry has been a dream of mine since the 6th grade.”

He moved back to St. Louis to be closer to family and friends. In his free time he enjoys being outside as much as possible. His passions include hiking, walking slacklines, playing disc golf, rock climbing and camping. He loves making art, mostly carving abstract stone sculptures. I also work with ceramics, concrete, steel and wood.

He is ready to leave more of a legacy, and take pride in knowing that the work that he does everyday with this great team “will positively impact local families, communities, and our Earth for generations to come.”
