StraightUp Solar is a proud member of the exclusive Pearl Certified network of installers. We help grow the green home movement in Illinois and Missouri through Pearl Solar Certification. Creating more sustainable neighborhoods is possible – when you partner with StraightUp Solar, you join the movement and add value to your home.
Pearl brings together an elite network of professionals to certify high-performing homes that are healthy, resilient, and energy-efficient. As a certified Pearl Contractor, StraightUp Solar meets the stringent requirements of quality workmanship, installation expertise, technical training, and customer service. Prestigious partners in this certification program include the Building Performance Institute, the Appraisal Institute, and the National Association of Realtors, to name a few.
A Pearl Certified Home is a high-performing home in the areas of comfort, energy efficiency and renewable energy. Homes with this nationally-recognized certification receive industry-approved documentation that helps ensure homeowners receive maximum value for their investments when it comes time to sell or refinance. Homeowners can achieve different Pearl status levels based on their home’s investments.
Our Pearl Solar Certification status allows us to provide investment-grade data on your solar array, inverter and battery installation, reporting that increases your Illinois or Missouri home appraisal value. StraightUp Solar provides information on your custom solar PV system to the Pearl Solar Equity Calculator. This calculator generates an estimated value range over the next 30 years that you can provide to the appraiser during the appraisal process. You can also add current and future energy efficiency upgrades to the Pearl Certification Report. Pearl Certification and their supplemental documents will help with marketing your home for sale or appraisals for refinancing. The Pearl Certification Report can also help you remove your Private Mortgage Insurance.
You’ll receive a Pearl Certification report that lists your solar assets and home’s energy efficiency investments. These reports help appraisers market and value your home for selling or refinancing.
Once your Pearl Certification is complete, you’ll receive a Residential Green and Energy Efficient Addendum showcasing your home’s renewable energy investments and energy efficiency upgrades Appraisers are legally obligated to include this addendum in your valuation.
Your Pearl Solar Certification grants you access to Green Door, a web application where you can manage and further improve your high-performing home. An exclusive network of certified contractors and real estate advice is just a click away with Green Door! Missouri Pearl Certified homeowners are eligible for a state certificate listing green homes in an online registry through Renew Missouri Homes.
