This week we moved our headquarters from Overland to Maryland Heights, MO. It was a heavy lift (pun intended). We have been in the Overland office for 7 years and we were sad to go, but it also is an extremely exciting time for us . Over the past few years we have grown significantly, and we have added 37 employees to our team in 2019.
This is not only good news for us, but shows how the solar market is growing in Missouri and Illinois. Our team alone installed 350 projects totaling 7.82 MW of new rooftop and ground mounted solar. The Future Energy Jobs Act (FEJA) has done what it promised to do, create jobs, and we are benefitting from this along with other companies. We are excited about our new home, and have already joined the Maryland Heights Chamber of Commerce. This week we are also starting to build the 100 kW solar array that will power our operations. A solar company needs to be solar powered of course, and so we are making sure that happened immediately. We will have our ribbon cutting March 12th and our Open House on May 12th. We invite you all to come and tour the office as well as see how commercial solar arrays work. Our office will also have several electric vehicle chargers so our fleet and employees can drive on sunshine.
We are creating the future that we want to live in and making moves to make that happen. Come visit us, and get energized for 2020! We are!
