Matt B.

Matt attended Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Illinois and received his Bachelor’s degree in architectural design in 2016 and his Master’s degree in architectural design in 2017.

After graduation, Matt began working for GMA Architects in St. Louis, Missouri and gained a tremendous amount of experience working professionally.  He worked with clients, contractors, and project managers to provide design drawings that were vital for project completion. It was here where he discovered StraightUp Solar and felt that it would be a great opportunity to pursue.

Matt loves promoting healthy lifestyles; working out and remaining active, always being productive (no matter the task), and being outdoors.

Matt’s “Why”: “It is very important to me to have an impact on the Earth and the people that live here. There’s no better feeling that making a family happy while saving the earth.”

It is now my goal to remain involved in the solar industry for a very long time and I plan on using my education and experience to have an increased impact on the Earth in the future”
