Kevin joined StraightUp Solar as a Solar Installer in 2016, shortly after completing 5 years in the Army. He had been stationed in Korea, after studying Korean at the Defense Language Institute in Monterey, California.

As part of his military to civilian transition process, Kevin received the opportunity to participate in a military-sponsored solar vocational training program called “Solar Ready Vets”.   There he learned the fundamentals of designing and installing solar energy systems.  Today, Kevin is applying his strong technical skills as a Solar Service Technician for StraightUp Solar.

Now back in his hometown of St. Louis, Kevin looks forward to enjoying cooking, playing piano, going on long walks with his dog, and, of course, “changing the way energy is produced, one solar array at a time”.
